MINISTRIES
Sunday Morning is Just the Start
At Risen Hope Church, Sunday mornings are where we gather—but they’re only the beginning of Christian community. We want to glorify God all week long as we treasure, apply, and proclaim the gospel beyond the church building. We have opportunities to get plugged into small groups, take classes, serve the neighborhood, and make genuine connection with other people.
STARTING POINT
Learn more about our church family
Becoming part of a church family is vital to growing in Christ and fulfilling the mission He has called all of us to! Our Starting Point class is open to everyone who is interested in learning more about Risen Hope Church or pursuing membership. Taught in four sessions, the church’s doctrines and practices are covered by the pastors. There is also time to ask questions, become acquainted with the pastors and other new folks, and enjoy refreshments.
HOPE KIDS
Bring the whole family
Our children are a vital part of the church, and we are committed to supporting families in raising their children. We equip parents through gospel-centered teaching and training as well as our Hope Kids classes on Sunday mornings.
In Hope Kids, we focus on creatively pointing the children to Jesus every week as we study God’s Word in age-appropriate and fun lessons. All Hope Kids volunteers are church members who participate in ongoing training and background checks. Every child is securely checked in and out each week and sent home with Scripture to read and memorize each month.
YOUTH GROUP
For your teens
Our teens are the next generation to impact the world for Christ! Youth group helps our middle and high school students to mature and supports parents in discipling their teens in their relationship with God. We want our youth to have fun together, build godly friendships, reach out to other teenagers, and ultimately grow closer to Jesus Christ. There are monthly youth meetings and parent/youth nights, summer mission and service opportunities, and yearly youth and parents camp to participate in.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Get connected by joining a group
Community Groups are a context where we meet several times throughout the month to know each other better, apply God’s Word together, encourage one another, and carry out our mission to the community. Most groups meet in the homes of church members with about 10–20 people in each group, including a mix of families and singles. Community Groups are a relaxed atmosphere providing a perfect place to jump into building relationships.
