CloseOpen your Bibles to Isaiah, chapter 42. In today’s passage we are going to continue to see themes that have been common in the book of Isaiah and especially Isaiah 40 and onward. Like in Isaiah 41, there’s God’s providence, presence, victory, and refreshment for his people. There’s the idolatry of God’s people, and a “servant”of the Lord. There is comfort spoken to God’s people. In this passage we’re going to see that a revelation of the glory of God removes blindness, dispels fear, and enables witness.
